A Place In The Sun host Laura Hamilton revealed on Wednesday that she received a bizarre explicit snap from a fan on social media who placed a face mask on his manhood.

The TV presenter, 38, was reportedly ‘horrified’ when she opened the X-rate photo.

Laura told The Sun: ‘I did get a message not that long ago from somebody that was a picture of them with a face mask over their private parts.

Yikes! A Place in the Sun host Laura Hamilton revealed on Wednesday that she received a bizarre explicit snap from a fan on social media who placed a face mask on his manhood

‘And then the string of the face mask up their bottom, and I was like, “I don’t need to see this,” I just blocked it straight away.’

Despite the initial shock, Laura found humour in the shocking snap.

She continued: ‘It did make me laugh, I was like, “that’s not the way we use face masks. But thanks very much.”‘

The online flasher, who decided to keep his face out of the photo, captioned the upload: ‘I can’t wait to get out of lockdown.’

Laura explained that not all of her fans slide into her Instagram DMs to drop X-rated selfies.

Instead, she frequently receives messages from others asking for property or fitness advice, or questioning which brand of lipstick she uses. However, she has also received harsh online criticism.

Earlier this month, Laura revealed her husband called an ambulance after she suffered a horrendous panic attack brought on by online trolling.

The TV presenter, 38, disclosed that vile comments posted about her village shop and cafe, Lord Roberts On The Green, left her requiring medical assistance.

She elaborated on the ‘scary’ experience which saw her husband Alex Goward call an ambulance as she felt like she was ‘drowning’ due to the overwhelming anxiety.

‘I try not to look at stuff for one. I try not to look at things online because it’s very easy isn’t it, to get sucked in,’ she said to The Express.

The real estate expert said she manages to brush off comments regarding her presenting career, but can’t help taking comments about her local business to heart.

Laura continued: ‘When it comes to my work, I sort of don’t [look] because I appreciate that not everyone will like my presentation style on TV and that’s fine.

‘You can never expect everyone to like you but I think with the shop it was different, because the shop is in my community.

‘It’s a family thing and we were trying to do the best for our community; it wasn’t about my TV career.’

In March last year, Laura took to her Instagram page where she revealed she had been struggling to breath amid her panic attack.

The TV host said to her followers: ‘Hi everyone. I was really unsure about posting this message but I feel the need to. Because something happened on Saturday night and it affected me quite badly.

‘As you are aware, Alex and I have been absolutely busting our b***s, basically helping the community. Doing what we can to use our suppliers to get goods to the community.

‘We’ve worked really hard to bring our prices down and we’ve been doing that on a regular basis.

‘Anyway, I’ve been losing my voice through stress of this situation.’

Admitting the ambulance had to be called, Laura continued: ‘And on Saturday night there were some really, really nasty people who decided to make some really nasty comments about what we’re doing on our local neighbourly websites.

‘It affected me so badly that I couldn’t breathe. I didn’t actually know what was happening to me.’

The Channel 4 presenter explained the incident felt like ‘drowning,’ which prompted her husband to call 999.

‘Please be kind,’ Laura concluded the video. ‘As I said I wasn’t going to post this because I didn’t think it was appropriate. But now I think it is appropriate.’
