And Abbey Clancy proved she is happier than ever with husband Peter Crouch as she seductively kissed him in a sultry new snap to mark his 40th birthday on Saturday.

Uploading the sizzling black and white snap to her Instagram, the model, 35, penned: ‘Happy 40th birthday baby I love you.’

The striking close-up image sees the married couple closing their eyes as they lean  in for a kiss, with Abbey seen grazing her lips across Peter’s. 

The stunner strokes her husband’s cheek with one hand, while the other flashes her dazzling pear-shaped engagement ring. 

Abbey’s snap garnered several comments rom her showbiz pals, with many of them quick to wish the former striker a happy birthday.

The couple share four children together; Sophia, nine, Liberty, five, Johnny, three and Jack, 19 months.

It comes after reports that the duo have splashed out £2million on a selection of new properties in London as they expand their property empire.

The celebrity couple have apparently splashed out on two flats in a former print works in London’s Stockwell area as well as another pair on a converted church.

According to the Sun, Abbey and Peter will rake in around £8,000-a-month in total from their four new luxury properties.

The property purchased by the duo was originally the country’s biggest printer of labels for household goods, before being bought by a catalogue firm. 

Also included in their property portfolio is two flats in an old church in Highgate. 

The publication reports that they have set up Coolabbey Ltd and Billco Ltd in relation to their growing collection of properties.

Their latest venture will no doubt boost their bank accounts in the long-run, after they suffered a financial loss during the coronavirus lockdown, according to their filed accounts.

Their finances were hit hard by the pandemic as they lost out on lucrative work deals when the nation came to a halt.

Abbey and her other half Peter reportedly told their accountant that they weren’t offered their usual commitments due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

The mother-of-four recently filed her books for her company Abigail Marie Clancy Ltd, while Peter has also settled his account for his firm Baseforce Ltd.

According to the Sun, the reports show that the couple’s income will also be down next year due to the ongoing outbreak.

A note on the account, read: ‘Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 in March 2020, all non-essential businesses and shops were closed.’

‘The associated ‘lockdown’ has had an effect on the company’s operations after the balance sheet date resulting in a sharp down in its revenues.’

Although the couple were seemingly affected by lockdown, it appears they aren’t too down on their luck, as the reports revealed they have a combined £2.5million in their accounts.
