Agostino Guardiani is sent home from The Bachelorette after missing out on a rose from Becky Miles… despite a ‘nervous’ James Boggia being convinced his time was up

Agostino Guardiani missed out on a rose during Wednesday’s episode of The Bachelorette.

The 30-year-old business owner appeared sombre after not hearing his name called out during the customary rose ceremony.

‘Thank you so much for having me around,’ he told Becky Miles before leaving the mansion.

But just moments before Agostino was given his marching orders, James Boggia was convinced he would be going home.

The 28-year-old wakeboarder was the last suitor to receive a rose from Becky’s sister Elly Miles, and the relief was written all over his face.

James confessed he was upset that he’d never had a chance to talk to Elly, 25, at the cocktail party, after earlier admitting he’d cheated on a former partner.

During a game of Truth or Dare earlier on in the episode, James was one of the few suitors to raise his hand when asked if he’d ever cheated on an ex.

He was convinced that not being given the opportunity to explain himself would cost him his place in the competition.

‘I’m feeling nervous and I can’t shake it. The pile is getting smaller and all I can seem to do is just look at the floor,’ he admitted.

But despite his cheating confession, James proved to be safe for another round, with Agostino sent packing instead.

‘James, will you accept this rose?’ asked a tentative Elly.

As he stepped forward to embrace the Bachelorette, James told her in no uncertain terms: ‘150 per cent yes.’
