Ali Oetjen reveals the bizarre rule all the recruits are forced to abide by on SAS Australia

The interrogations on SAS Australia are probably one of the most intense parts of the show, but the celebrity recruits aren’t allowed to talk about it, no matter how hard things get.

On Wednesday, Ali Oetjen revealed the recruits weren’t allowed to discuss what was said during their cross-examinations.

Despite often being left emotionally raw by the interrogations, the 34-year-old confessed none of the other recruits were privy to what was said.

‘We don’t know. They also say to us that we’re not allowed to discuss it with the other recruits, that’s why we don’t,’ she said on KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O Show

She added: ‘So you just go back and have to mellow in your own emotions.’

During an especially emotional interrogation on Monday’s episode, Ali opened up about her recent breakup with Taite Radley.

‘It went really well. It was definitely worth my time…’ she said, after being asked about her stint on The Bachelorette, before trailing off in tears.

She added: ‘I met an amazing man, and we spent two amazing years together… He didn’t want the same things that I wanted. I still think he’s my soulmate, but our timelines are different.’

The show’s DS (directing staff) then told her she needed to move on, as Jason Fox informed her: ‘It’s not going to help you going forward in the rest of your life.’

As a heartbroken Ali began to get increasingly upset, fellow DS Ollie Ollerton reminded her to ‘just breathe’ and ‘relax’.

‘I kind of feel a bit empty. I’m trying,’ she continued, in between floods of tears, before confessing she was planning on returning home to live with her parents to regroup.

Ali left the show during Tuesday’s episode, after suffering a panic attack in a helicopter before having to jump out into freezing cold water.
