Amanda Holden has released her first ever Christmas single, following the success of her Number One album Songs From My Heart.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 49, appeared on This Morning on Friday and later unveiled her music video, which also stars her two daughters; Hollie, eight, and Lexi, 14.

In the video, Amanda looked effortlessly glamorous in a cream chunky knit as she sang by her fireplace and put up a Christmas tree with her girls.

Amanda told Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes: ‘The thinking behind it was that a lot of people are going to be home for Christmas, but a lot of people can’t be home.

‘Being home doesn’t necessarily mean a building, the sentiment is as long as we’re with someone we love, then we’re home.’

‘It’s been a difficult year for us all but one of the positives to come from 2020 has been the extra time we’ve been given to engage with friends, neighbours, and our families.

Amanda said: ‘All of us judges, I can’t say what we doing, but all of us will be performing.

It’s going to be a really festive show. There’s no competition between us- all though I don’t know about David.’

On a prospect of Simon making a guest appearance, the judge said: ‘He may make an appearance, he may not.

‘I’ve heard it from horses’ mouth, he’s well, he’s fighting fit, he can’t wait to get back. The auditions start in January and he will be back.
