Amanda Seyfried’s baby son made an appearance during an interview with Willie Geist for Today on Sunday.

The Mank actress was in the middle of a conversation about her home life when she was handed her child, whom she greeted with visible enthusiasm.

The 35-year-old’s mood noticeably changed when she began to hold her son, leading Geist to remark, ‘Oh my god, what a cute guy.’ 

Before she was handed her second child, Seyfried discussed the advantages of living on an isolated farm and spending more time with her family during their period of quarantine.

The Mean Girls actress expressed, ‘there’s some benefits, and there’s some serious drawbacks…they squeeze in so much more work.’

However, the Oscar-nominated actress concluded that, with living on a farm, ‘the benefits outweigh everything.’

Changing subjects, Seyfried went on to note that she wanted to be seen not as a high-profile actress, but as a regular person and mother.

‘I’ve fought so hard to impress upon people that I am normal, that I do not have someone waking me up with breakfast in bed…I’m not chauffeured around,’ she said.

She also commented on the difficulties that she has encountered when being introduced to unfamiliar people, who often mistake her as a much more guarded person.

‘Every time I meet somebody new I’m just so desperate for them to understand that…I am like everybody else,’ she remarked.

Seyfried welcomed her baby son and second child with her husband Thomas Sadoski, whom she married in 2017.

She was previously romantically connected to Justin Long, as well as her Mamma Mia! co-star Dominic Cooper.

The Things Heard And Seen actress and her husband welcomed their first child, a currently four-year-old daughter named Nina, the same year they were married. 

The couple has attempted to keep their children out of the spotlight and tried to ensure that their lives stay as private and normal as possible.

Seyfried’s kids occasionally pop up on her Instagram account, and her son was shown hanging out with one of the family’s dogs in a photo that was shared on Friday.
