I’m not doing it! Amber Gill, 23, admitted she’d tried and failed the raunchy ‘Buss It challenge’ on Friday as she hit back at fans’ demands she film the TikTok trend on Friday

The Buss It Challenge typically sees a star undergo a sexy transformation, donning makeup and a revealing outfit to twerk to the song of the same name by Erica Banks.

It appeared that Amber wanted to take on the challenge after unveiling her incredible new physique, but struggled with staying upright for the twerking part of the clip.

A fan commented they’d twigged she was doing the challenge, writing: ‘The dress she’s wearing tells me she tried it and it ain’t look cute.’

Amber then responded: ‘Literally how do you think I figured my knees said no. I tried and nearly broke my ankle!’

But it seemed Amber’s fans were still keen for her to ‘Buss it’ for her Instagram feed, and she later took to her Stories to insist she wasn’t doing it.

She said: ‘F**k the Bus it challenge with whole heart, f**k it, I’m not doing it, you can all f**k off, no, my knees said not it doesn’t look good.

‘I mean I feel personally attacked because my knees can’t take the strain of the twerking and that’s the fact.’

She explained: ‘I was so overwhelmed during the first lockdown, I couldn’t do anything. I got to the point my brain was fried. I couldn’t even meditate.

‘I couldn’t even take a photo or video for Instagram. I didn’t want to talk, I didn’t want to do nothing. It was awful.

‘But if you just take baby steps and take one day at a time.’

Amber responded by reminding the fan that there is no problem with feeling ‘a bit s**t’ during the Covid crisis and reminded them to ‘listen to themselves’.

She continued: ‘I don’t think there’s a problem with feeling rubbish at the moment, especially if you live in the UK, you have every right to feel a little bit s**t.

‘But my tips would just be to listen to yourself, if you want to rest, rest, don’t force yourself to be productive.’

The Newcastle native, who frequently uses her social media to speak candidly about important issues, described the ongoing pandemic as ‘absolutely horrible.’
