She’s been spending more time with her family as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and accompanying lockdowns.

And while she admits that she’s ‘lost her sanity several times’ during the past year, Anne Hathaway also says being able to spend so much time at home has made her ‘happier.’

The actress, 38, gave birth to her second child Jack shortly before the pandemic started and on Thursday, she was seen enjoying a stroll with the toddler around her LA neighborhood.

Hathaway pushed Jack, 16 months, in a stroller and the little boy wore a blue hoodie and navy sweats along with Velcro-fastened sneakers.

She shares Jack and his older brother Jonathan, five,  with husband Adam Shulman whom she married in September 2012.

Last September, she spent 19 days filming the movie Locked Down with British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor. It was released on VOD in the USA in January and in the UK in mid-March.

Speaking to Ireland’s Sunday World to promote the film, Hathaway spoke about surviving lockdown in real life and shared: ‘If it all gets too much, scream into a pillow! I’ve lost my sanity several times, it comes with the time we are in right now.’

The Oscar-winning star added:  ‘I haven’t been home this much since I was 16 because I’ve always been working. Having to take time out and focus on other goals has actually made me happier.’

Hathaway has four movies lined up  for when production really starts ramping up including the planned Sesame Street movie.

She’s also set to reunite with her The Intern co-star Robert de Niro for the coming-of-age drama Armageddon Time, to which Cate Blanchett is also attached.
