The iPad also supports the ‘Center Stage’ feature, which moves the camera’s perspective a you move around in the real world.

Center Stage uses machine learning to adjust the front-facing Ultra Wide camera during FaceTime video calls, but has only been available on iPad Pro models.

‘As users move around, Center Stage automatically pans the camera to keep them in view,’ Apple shared in a statement.

‘When others join in, the camera detects them too, and smoothly zooms out to include them in the conversation. Center Stage makes video calls more natural in FaceTime as well as third-party video-calling apps.’

The Apple tablet also includes True Tone display, which  adjusts color temperature to match environment.

This is thanks to upgraded ambient light sensors that allows the feature to adjust screen content to the color temperature of the room.

‘True Tone on the new iPad makes images appear more natural and provides users with a more comfortable viewing experience in all lighting environments,’ shares Apple.
