He chat with friends and fans in the outdoor area of the famed gym he’s been tied to for decades, while he was seated at a chest machine.

Schwarzenegger, who served as the Governor of California from 2003 until 2011, was seen getting vaccinated this past January at Dodger Stadium.

He’s continued to stay physically active through the duration of the pandemic shutdown with gyms previously closed in California, as he was frequently seen on bicycling outings in Los Angeles.

Schwarzenegger chat with The New York Times earlier the month about the forthcoming recall election in California, as incumbent Gov. Gavin Newsom faces a field of Republican challengers including Caitlyn Jenner, San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and former Rep. Doug Ose.

Schwarzenegger referenced about his own recall victory over Democrat Gray Davis in 2003, asking, ‘Why did I get elected? Why did Trump get elected? Because people were dissatisfied with the politicians. They hate the politicians. They can’t trust them. This is the overriding story.’

While Schwarzenegger said he has no plans to run for office moving forward, he continues to remain active politically on multiple fronts.

‘When you leave office, you realize – well, I realized – that I just couldn’t cut it off like that,’ he said. ‘Just because I’m finished with this job that is only kind of a temporary job, does it mean that I have interest only in a temporary way? No! It’s like sports, with the follow-through.’
