While Harry and Meghan were making waves with their tell-all TV interview last week, the Duchess of York’s latest media venture had rather less success.

As the global audience for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey topped 50 million, Sarah Ferguson’s series of storytelling videos have been watched only a few hundred times on YouTube.

One video posted on Friday of her reading a children’s book called Why Does Mum Wear a Hijab? by Amal Abou-Eid had been viewed just 394 times by last night.

A reading of My Family Fart Book, which was posted the previous day, had 641 views and only 758 people have watched her rendition of Slug In Love by Rachel Bright which was uploaded on Wednesday. 

The most watched video on Fergie’s channel features her daughter Princess Eugenie reading Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney. 

It has had 42,000 views since last April.

The Duchess, 61, launched Storytime With Fergie And Friends on YouTube last year.
