Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross grab ice cream with her son Bronx, 12, and daughter Jagger, 5, in LA

Ashlee Simpson looked every inch the doting mom as she treated her two eldest children to ice cream at Menchie’s in Encino, California on Tuesday afternoon.  

After grabbing dessert, the 36-year-old star could be seen leaving the popular frozen yogurt chain holding hands with her daughter Jagger, five, next to husband Evan Ross. 

While the couple left their six-month-old Ziggy Blu at home, Simpson’s firstborn Bronx, who she shares with ex Pete Wentz, was present on the family outing.  

For the laid-back occasion, Simpson sported a cozy white sweater, grey pinstripe pants, a crossbody Bandolier iPhone case and a pair of Converse sneakers.    

Meanwhile, Ross also kept his look casual in a white button-down with black vertical stripes, a black beanie and brown trousers. 

Every member of the family wore a black face mask amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  

Little Jagger was all dressed up in a frilly floral dress, flats and a patterned headband.

Her older brother, Bronx, opted to wear a black hoodie with a lion on the front and shorts.  

Last month, Simpson spoke of her and Ross’ instant connection, which took off after they had a dance-off at a friend’s birthday party.  

‘He’s so cute and he’s four years younger than me. There was a connection right away,’ Simpson gushed of their first encounter on The Drew Barrymore Show. 

In 2014, they announced their engagement, tied the knot, that same year, then quickly revealed that they were expecting their first child together.

The couple got married at the Connecticut estate owned by Evan’s mom, music legend Diana Ross.
