Singer Mitch Tambo and his wife Lea are expecting their first child together after tying the knot last month.

The former Australia’s Got Talent star and his spouse were spotted in Sydney’s Haymarket on Thursday, ahead of his performance on ABC’s Q+A program.

The couple looked smitten as they walked hand in hand around the city.

Mitch wore a black tank top and ripped jeans featuring red and black sequinned details across the tears.

He teamed his look with combat boots, and accessorised with a pair of clear glasses.

Meanwhile, Lea flaunted her pregnant figure in a white mini dress that showcased her growing baby bump.

She added a denim jacket to her look, and matched her husband by wearing a pair of black boots.

During the walk, Mitch gazed sweetly at his wife before pulling her in for a kiss.

They were later seen waiting outside their hotel and as Lea checked her phone for updates, Mitch placed his hand on her tummy.

They tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Tamworth in April.

The couple incorporated their respective cultural traditions: Lea’s West Papuan heritage and Mitch’s Aboriginal culture. 

Mitch rose to fame in 2019 when he won over the judges on Australia’s Got Talent with his Indigenous rendition of You’re the Voice by John Farnham. 

At the time, guest judge Natalie Bassingthwaighte pressed her gold buzzer.

She said: ‘I’m telling you right now, you are the new voice of our generation and because of that, I’m sorry, but I have no choice but to [hit the gold buzzer].’

By doing so, Mitch went straight to the Australia’s Got Talent final.

Fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger was just as excited, telling Mitch: ‘I respect you so much for preserving your culture and given it a voice.’
