And the eight-time Grammy nominee has since been enjoying their blossoming relationship outside of the recording studio.
She put on a punk display Friday, as she cozied up to Mod Sun (stage name of Derek Ryan Smith), while stepping out for date night at celeb favorite seafood spot Catch LA in West Hollywood.

Lavigne finished the ensemble with a matching red belt and a pair of black leather combat boots.
