The Bachelorette’s Stu Laundy buys iconic Lennox Heads pub frequented by Byron Bay’s Hollywood crowd including the Hemsworths
Bachelorette star and playboy publican Stu Laundy’s family hotel and pub empire is worth a whopping $500 million.
And now the pub baron has snapped up another iconic beachfront venue in a trendy New South Wales’ coastal region near Byron Bay, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Splashing out close to $40 million, Laundy and local hotelier Fraser Short are now the new owners of the Lennox Hotel in Lennox Head.

It’s the first time in 16 years the pub has changed ownership. as it was previously bought by local brothers Greg and Clyde Campbell in 2005 from developer Chris Condon for $14 million.
With Byron becoming a hot spot for celebrities in recent years, nearby Lennox Head is often frequented by A-list visitors and locals.
In fact, Hollywood actors and Byron Bay locals Chris and Liam Hemsworth are among the famous regulars at the Lennox Hotel.
Chris, 36, lives in a $30 million mansion in Broken Head, which is approximately 10km north of (or a 15 minute drive from) Lennox Head.

In August last year, Laundy and Fraser confirmed they had also bought Byron Bay’s trendy venue The Farm for $16 million.
Laundy, who appeared on Channel 10’s The Bachelorette in 2017, has a share of his family’s $500 million fortune.
The family fortune was built from taking over a single pub in Sydney’s working class inner-west at the end of World War II.
Since then, through the hard work and canny investments of his parents and grandparents, Laundy’s family has amassed a hotel portfolio among the biggest in Australia.
The father-of-four, 48, is the third generation of Laundys in the pub game and manager of the family company.
The family’s pub interests now stretch up and down the east coast of NSW and into the centre of the state, controlling dozens of hotels.
