EXCLUSIVE: Below Deck’s Ashling Lorger dishes on explosive reunion special and feud with Elizabeth Frankini… as she defends controversial chief stewardess Francesca Rubi

Aussie Below Deck star Ashling Lorger has dished on some of the ‘fiery’ drama at the show’s upcoming reunion special.

The Gold Coast-based beauty revealed that sparks flew between workplace rivals Elizabeth Frankini and Francesca Rubi, who have been feuding all season.

‘It was pretty fiery, to be honest it was quite tense between Francesca and myself against Elizabeth,’ she told Daily Mail Australia on Friday.

‘But then also, we also had Captain Lee interfere,’ she added cryptically.

Ashling also opened up about her drama with Elizabeth, which peaked when the pair went tit-for-tat during an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week.

The blonde beauty said that the drama started over a previous interview she gave, in which she said Elizabeth had ‘no backbone’ and a bad work ethic – which resulted in Elizabeth retaliating by branding her ‘fake’.

‘Obviously I’m going to ark up,’ she explained. ‘I’ve never been fake throughout the whole season.

‘I’m a little bit disappointed in that, and I can understand that she’s disappointed in me because I said she’s got no backbone,’ she continued.

‘I’m pretty sure that everyone can see that her work ethic is not so great and not at the high standards for a super yacht industry level.’

Ashling also jumped to the defence of Francesca Rubi, stating that the embattled chief stewardess has been unfairly criticised by some of her co-stars.

‘Some of the words have been pretty disgusting that have come across towards Francesca, as a person, and who she is and how she performs,’ the blonde said.

‘She performs at a high, well educated level and I think it’s very wrong to say that she’s a bully – she’s far from a bully,’ Ashling continued.

‘She’s just trying to do her job and keep professional the whole season and I think that she did a fantastic job.’
