Ben Shephard showcased his bulging biceps as he received the first dose of his COVID-19 vaccine at his local rugby stadium on Sunday.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 46, took to Instagram to share the news with his followers, as he also thanked the Harlequins rugby team for their ‘wonderfully efficient friendly staff’.

Ben shared a snap of him donning a grey t-shirt, with the right sleeve pulled up as a nurse begin to administer the vaccine, showcasing his toned muscles in the process.

He also uploaded a selfie he took alongside his wife Annie Parks, as they posed at the Stoop stadium in Twickenham, London.

Ben captioned the post: ‘#JabbyMcjabface First one done! Thanks to all the team @harlequins wonderfully efficient friendly staff, and a cracking setting too.

‘I’d say the sun seems a bit brighter today! #grateful.’

Both Ben and his wife are currently eligible to get the vaccine as they fall into the 45-50 year old category. He did not reveal which vaccine he and his wife had received.

Ben is just the latest celeb to have received his COVID-19 vaccine, joining the likes of Sir David Attenborough, Dame Joan Collins and his Good Morning Britain co-star, Susanna Reid.

The Government have recently confirmed that more than 9.9 million people in the UK have now received both doses of the vaccine.

Meanwhile, nearly 33 million have had their first dose as the UK’s vaccination programme continues.

It also marks the first Sunday since outdoor pubs, bars and restaurants can reopen their doors.
