Big Brother winner Chad Hurst fuels speculation that he’s returning to the reality show after being spotted outside the compound during filming

Chad Hurst won Big Brother 2020 and took home more than $234,000 this year.

And with filming for season two currently underway, the reality TV star revealed he was near the set of the Channel Seven show, which is filmed in Sydney’s Manly.

The 27-year-old shared a video to Instagram showing the Big Brother house and the iconic eye symbol on the building’s exterior from afar.

In the background, the hunky former construction can be heard saying: ‘The memories’ as he showed a closer view of the compound. 

While fans of the international model may think he’s back for another round or a guest spot on Big Brother, he clarified that he just happened to be in the area.

Chad told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I had a shoot for something else nearby.’

Big Brother viewers will remember Chad pocketed $234,656 when he won the Big Brother finale in July.

The following month he revealed to The Babble podcast that he gave his love interest, Sophie Baduck, a ‘bloody good amount’ of the winnings, rather that go halves on the big prize.

‘Once the money came in I messaged her straight away and told her that you know, the money’s come in so send your bank details over,’ Chad said.

‘We’re just sharing, it’s not halves. We made an agreement it’s not halves, so yeah. But it’s a bloody good amount, I’ll tell ya that!’ 

He also revealed that his first big spend since receiving the money was on a lads’ weekend away.

‘I’m going away this weekend, so I’m going away with a few lads and my brother and stuff like that to Port Macquarie. So there’ll be a few sore heads over the week,’ he added with a laugh.
