Billie Eilish teases possible new album soon as she shows off newly dyed platinum blonde hair

Billie Eilish recently made the switch from funky black and green hair to a more mainstream hue of blonde as a symbol of evolution.

And the 19-year-old musical force continued to show off her newly icy tresses while teasing ‘things are comingggg,’ amid reports of a possible new album soon.

Last week her brother and musical collaborator, Finneas O’Connell, remained mum on whether or not fans could expect new music from the seven-time Grammy winner, telling TMZ ‘I cannot confirm or deny.’

In the Instagram snap, the usually animated Bad Guy singer softly smiled while looking off camera.

Her wispy blonde hair — which took six weeks to achieve in a healthy way — were softly curled, and she traded in her large collection of edgy designer duds for a simple cardigan embroidered with a ‘G’.

The very feminine ensemble featured delicate strands of pearl chokers and matching pearl drop earrings.

Billie first revealed she had recorded a new album in COVID-19 lockdown while talking to Stephen Colbert on The Late Show in February.

‘I don’t think I would’ve made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren’t for Covid,’ she said.

And she continued to harp on the same sort of evolution that is evident in her hairstyle change, as she told Colbert ‘When things are different in your life, you’re different. That’s just how it is.’

Fan theories on Reddit and Twitter have gone wild while trying to predict everything from the album’s name, to possible celebrity collaborators, and even when it can be expected.

Many have eyes on a summer release after Finneas told the Herald Sun that he wants the album to coincide with a happy time sans pandemic as sort of a ‘vaccine album.’

And a few others have theorized that Ariana Grande may make an appearance on the album one user tweeting: ‘A trusted Insider confirmed that on Billie Eilish’s next album there will be a collab with Ariana Grande, he also confirmed that the song will be called Dreams.’

In recent days Billie was seen cozying up to a possible new man in her life — actor Matthew Tyler Vorce (who has since turned his Instagram private) — while on a Santa Barbara getaway.  And last week she shared a snap on Instagram with the caption ‘kiss me.’

She was most recently linked to Brandon ‘Q’ Adams but the relationship fizzled in 2019. And in her documentary The World’s A Little Blurry she revealed the reason for their breakup.

‘I just wasn’t happy. And I didn’t want the same things he wanted and I don’t think that’s fair, for him. I don’t think you should be in a relationship, super excited about certain things that the other person couldn’t care less about,’ she said.

He had spoken out with his side of the story after her protective fans began to ‘bash him,’ to which he revealed some personal struggles.

‘People fail to realize I’ve been dealing with my brother’s death. Especially around that time when it was fresh. Sometimes you have to be alone to cope. Sometimes people disagree and don’t want the same things as one another,’ he said — adding ‘I refuse to be bashed.’

And Billie seemingly came to his defense when she asked them to stop sending him hate messages. ‘To the fanssss. Remember to be nice to people no matter what! I love you guys thank you for protecting me but be nice!,’ she said.
