Bindi Irwin’s mother Terri introduces three-week-old girl Grace Warrior Irwin to the animals at Australia Zoo
Bindi Irwin welcomed her first child, baby daughter Grace Warrior, last month.
And on Sunday, Terri Irwin introduced her baby granddaughter to some of the creatures at the family’s famous Australia Zoo in Queensland.
While Bindi was no stranger to the crocodile enclosure as an infant, Terri chose to take little three-week old girl to meet some of the tamer, farmyard animals.

‘Introducing Grace to some of the animals living in her backyard,’ Terri captioned a photo on Twitter with some chickens.
The Irwin matriarch, 56, recently shared her joy at becoming a grandmother on Twitter in March and said that her late husband Steve Irwin would have been ‘beyond proud’.
Terri wrote: ‘Love is not a big enough word. My heart is so incredibly happy. And I know that Steve would be beyond proud.’

Steve, known to millions around the world as ‘the Crocodile Hunter’, was filming a documentary when he was fatally stabbed in the heart by a stingray barb on September 4, 2006 in Batt Reef, Queensland. He was 44 years old.
The late Steve Irwin had once cradled both Bindi and Robert as young children while presenting slabs of meat during feeding displays at Australia Zoo’s Crocoseum.
Terri added: ‘Grace is the next generation to continue his mission and message of conservation… She chose her parents wisely. Bindi and Chandler are already the best parents ever.’

Bindi and Chandler announced the birth of their daughter on March 26, one day after welcoming the child at Buderim Private Hospital on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
The couple first met at Australia Zoo in in 2013, when the American former wakeboarder went on a guided tour of Australia Zoo in Queensland.
Grace was born on the couple’s first wedding anniversary, as they tied the knot on the zoo grounds in March 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic.
