The 2020 Soul Train Awards presented by BET is set to air on the network at 8:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, November 29, as well as BET Her, VH1 and MTV2.
Prior to the ceremony, BET hosted a one-hour pre-show titled Soul-Coming: Countdown to the Soul Train Awards, which was hosted by Flex Alexander and Shanice.
The annual Soul Train Awards, which was established by Don Corenlius in 1987, aims to ‘celebrate all genres of Black music and culture,’ as per BET.
‘This year is no different with 12 different award categories presented, each recognizing both established industry legends and the next generation of promising artists across R&B/soul, hip-hop, and gospel,’ the network explained on their official site.
