He has been happily getting accustomed to parenthood after welcoming his first child with Jules Robinson earlier this month. 

But Cameron Merchant found himself in a pickle on Thursday when he revealed that he was desperate to use the bathroom but risked having to wake up the youngster who was asleep on his lap. 

In a post shared to his Instagram Stories, the MAFS star, 36, said: ‘When he finally falls asleep but now you need to get up and go to the bathroom and don’t want to wake him #trouble’.

The short clip saw Cam grinning at the camera while panning the camera to his sleeping youngster. 

On Sunday, new dad Cameron shared a sweet series of photos snuggling up to their adorable little tot on Instagram.

‘Loving my new little napping partner,’ he wrote alongside a eye-heart emoji.

In one image, the cricketer-turned-reality star is seen smiling while posing with his sleeping baby.

In the next, Cameron is seen planting a kiss on his son’s forehead before pretending to sleep alongside him.

The father-and-son appeared happier than ever, while wife, Jules Robinson was nowhere to be seen.

Cameron appeared to be embracing his isolation look, sporting a beard which contained bits of grey hair.

It comes after Cameron revealed how many nappies Oliver went through in his first week. 

Posting to Instagram last week, the reality star shared an image of himself holding up a large garbage bag full of soiled goods.

He then questioned his followers if it was a ‘normal’ amount for a newborn. 

‘Can someone please deny or confirm. This is normal for the 1st week please?’ he captioned the photo.

‘If this is the case… Looks like we have quite the regular child on our hands… and for the record, improving everyday at the nappy change!’

Cameron looked casual in a navy polo shirt featuring bright blue trimming, as he held up the purple garbage bag with a perplexed look on his face.
