Candice Warner cancels interview as toilet tryst with Sonny Bill Williams is discussed SAS Australia

Candice Warner has pulled out of her interview with Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson at the eleventh hour.

On Monday, the radio show’s producer Mayo explained that the WAG cancelled her scheduled segment for the following day because ‘she wanted the focus of her SAS Australia story to be her strength and journey, not about her dramas with Roxy Jacenko.’

Interestingly, the 35-year-old’s last-minute cancellation comes just after it emerged that her infamous 2007 ‘toilet tryst’ with Sonny Bill Williams would be heavily discussed on the next episode of Channel Seven’s military-style show.

‘So, she’d rather keep a low profile on the whole thing?’ Kyle asked in a bid to figure out why Candice had cancelled.

Over the past week, Candice hit headlines after a vicious boxing match on SAS Australia ended her once close friendship with PR queen, Roxy.

And on Monday’s episode of SAS Australia, the drama is set to continue for the blonde, who will be getting a grilling on her scandalous ‘toilet tryst’ with rugby player Sonny.

In a yet-to-air harrowing interrogation scene, Candice confesses: ‘In my early 20s I made a very big mistake.’

Candice added: ‘It is something I am not proud of but something I can never take back.

‘I put myself in a situation where I shouldn’t have and because of that I brought embarrassment, shame to my family.’

The now-infamous meeting between Candice and New Zealand All Blacks star Sonny occurred 13 years ago, years before she met her now-husband David Warner.

In 2018, Candice apologised to Sonny and his family after their ‘toilet tryst’ was dredged up in the media.

In the lead-up to the Cricket Australia ball tampering scandal in 2018, Candice was taunted by South African fans for her brief sexual encounter

South African player Quinton de Kock was fined for allegedly provoking David with a sledge regarding Sonny and his wife, while South African fans wore masks featuring Williams’ face in an attempt to further humiliate Warner.

Cricket South Africa was forced to apologise after two officials posed for a photograph with fans wearing the masks.

David was banned for one year by Cricket Australia after he helped mastermind a plot to cheat in the Third Test against South Africa in March 2018.

Candice told The Australian Women’s Weekly that she had miscarried just a week after David apologised for his role in the conspiracy.

‘I was bleeding. We knew I was miscarrying. We held one another and cried,’ Candice told the magazine.

‘The miscarriage was a tragic consequence, a heartbreaking end to a horror tour,’ she added.

The mother-of-three also reflected on the scandal that made her a tabloid fixture for years – extending an apology to Sonny Bill and his family.

‘I finally received a weak apology from Cricket South Africa [for the fan taunts]. I realised they’re the ones to feel ashamed, not me,’ she told the magazine.
