Candice Warner looks chic and confident following SAS Australia grilling

She was grilled about her party-girl past and her husband’s cricketing scandals during a tense interrogation on Monday night’s episode of SAS Australia.

But Candice Warner didn’t let the drama get her down on Tuesday, as she oozed confidence while strutting out of Channel Seven’s Sydney headquarters after an interview on The Morning Show.

The retired Ironwoman, 35, looked stunning and sophisticated in a glittery one-sleeved top, which draped over her body elegantly while drawing attention to her muscular arms.

Red hot! Candice Warner looked confident on Tuesday morning as she strutted out of Channel Seven’s Sydney headquarters just hours after her SAS Australia interrogation aired on TV

She dressed her long, trim pins in a pair of tailored pants, and teamed her look with black stiletto heels and a designer handbag.

Looking worlds away from her stripped-down appearance on SAS Australia, Candice wore lashings of makeup, which only emphasised her already-striking features.

She styled her luscious blonde locks in a gentle wave, and accessorised with a pair of pearl earrings.

It had no doubt been a stressful morning for Candice, who was on the media rounds to discuss her tense interrogation, which aired on TV the night before.

Before stopping by The Morning Show, Candice had addressed her 2007 ‘toilet tryst’ with Sonny Bill Williams on Nova FM’s Fitzy and Wippa.

She admitted that she’d had enough of ‘always being sledged’ following the scandal – particularly in 2018 when South African fans wore masks featuring Sonny Bill’s face in an attempt to humiliate her and rile up her cricketer husband, David Warner.

‘It’s a classic case of society, isn’t it, Candice? Where the focus was always on you and not the other person that you had that tryst with that everyone was speaking about,’ radio host Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald said.

‘I know that you get your back up, but that’s your mechanism, isn’t it? That’s how you’ve coped with that your whole life?’

Candice responded: ‘It is, because no one ever really approached me or spoke to me about it. I’ve just always been sledged, always had people yelling out or people at the cricket wearing face masks.’

Making her voice heard: Earlier in the day, Candice had spoken to Nova FM's Fitzy & Wippa about her 2007 'toilet tryst' scandal with Sonny Bill Williams on Fitzy and Wippa. She had addressed it briefly during the interrogation on Monday night's episode of SAS Australia

In cricket, the term ‘sledging’ is used to describe the practice whereby some players or fans seek to gain an advantage for their team by insulting or verbally intimidating an opposing player.

Candice continued: ‘So, of course I’m gonna be that kind of person, because no one ever spoke to me properly about it – it’s kind of one of those things that it was “do we, don’t we?” – so we’ll just sledge her instead.’

Speaking again to Fitzy & Wippa, Candice said Roxy ‘couldn’t land a punch’ during their fight and admitted she was ‘shocked’ when the publicist declared they were no longer friends.

Later, on The Morning Show, Candice bristled slightly when asked about her husband David’s involvement in the 2018 ball-tampering scandal.

‘I was on the show for myself and my family, but I wasn’t there to talk on behalf of David,’ she responded firmly.

Host Kylie Gillies remarked: ‘Look at that, she’s still shutting us down!’
