Carefree Amanda Holden, 50, makes the most of the sunshine

Amanda Holden beamed as she headed to work following her visit from the police over a 215 mile trip to check on her parents in lockdown.   

The star was busy making her 50th birthday one to remember last week, shortly after she after she drove to Cornwall following a ‘distressing’ call from her father, yet it was back to work as usual as she glammed it up to the max.

Stepping out in London on Wednesday, the blonde beauty was showing off her lithe legs in a tiny bouclé mini skirt with a matching boxy jacket. 

Amanda looked simply sensational in her chic two-piece which showed off her endless legs and ageless physique to perfection. 

The pink shades in the material were complemented by the light blue denim trim on the outfit, while she upped the glam further with white heels and a matching bag.  

Amanda’s blonde locks were coiffed to perfection while she shielded her perfectly made-up face was hidden behind a pair of designer sunglasses.  

Her trip to work comes a week after she was reported to police for making a 215-mile trip from London to Cornwall on February 12 during lockdown.  

The BGT  judge went to see her parents after she received a ‘distressing phone call’ from her stepfather Les Collister on the weekend before her 50th birthday.

Amanda took a black Mercedes from Richmond to a small hamlet near Bude to see the 75-year-old and her mother Judith, 71, on Friday 12 – it is believed she had not seen the pair for a year prior to the visit. 

Devon and Cornwall Police had previously warned visitors that they would face a fine for breaking lockdown restrictions but a source has since told The Sun: ‘Officers turned up at [Amanda’s] parents’ this afternoon to ask about the visit.

‘As they left they said this would be the end of the matter.’ 

Friends of Amanda said although she knew she should not have made the journey, she was so concerned about her parents’ welfare she felt she had no option.
