His social media accounts regularly feature a wholesome helping of his rescue dog Dodger.

But Chris Evans made friends with a new puppy in a cute video posted Sunday to his Instagram Stories.

The 39-year-old actor held the adorable pooch in a short clip while rocking a cable knit sweater reminiscent of his popular Knives Out look.

Pals: Chris Evans, 39, was in the mood for some puppy love on Sunday as he held a cute brown dog named Milo while wearing a sweater reminiscent of his Knives Out ensemble

Chris nuzzled the tiny brown dog, before a woman filming the video called out the dog’s name, Milo, which got his attention.

‘…Too bad his charm didn’t work on me,’ joked the actor, who was clearly taken with the pup.

Though his sweater was similar to his Knives Out costume, it featured a less busy pattern than the instantly iconic cable knit sweater from the mystery film.

In the film, he played the cantankerous grandson of a famous mystery writer (Christopher Plummer) who dies mysteriously while his whole family are at his home to celebrate the holidays.

Earlier on Sunday, Chris shared another cute video featuring his much larger dog Dodger.

Little Milo zoomed through Dodger’s legs before running back around to play with him.

The same woman appeared to be in the video, though Chris didn’t identify her.

‘Dodger had a very energetic play date yesterday…’ he captioned the clip.

Last month, the filmmaker Amy Berg started a variation on a meme on Twitter, telling users that ‘One has to go,’ and offering them the choice of Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine or Chris Pratt.

Social media users overwhelmingly chose Pratt as the worst Chris, which led some of his Marvel costars, including Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo, to come to the Guardians Of The Galaxy star’s defense.

Some used Pratt’s rumored conservative politics, and the fact that he sat out Democratic fundraisers put on by his Avengers and Parks And Recreation costars, as evidence that he was the worst of the bunch.

The situation devolved to the point that Pratt’s brother-in-law Patrick Schwarzenegger stepped in, calling the situation ‘sad.’

‘People are so focused on putting other people down to make themselves feel better, he said.
