Chris and his wife, Elsa Pataky, 44, temporarily moved from Byron Bay to Sydney last month to make their work commitments more manageable.

However, the couple – who own a $30million mega-mansion in Broken Head – have been flying back to Byron via private jet for weekend trips on several occasions.

Chris is busy shooting the new Thor movie, while Elsa is working on Netflix action movie Interceptor.

Chris and Elsa moved to Bryon Bay with their daughter India and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, seven, in 2014.

They live in the suburb of Broken Head, a 20-minute drive from central Byron, in a mega-mansion estimated to be worth $30million.

The property features a 50-metre infinity pool, a large Indigenous mural, two bars and a gym complex including steam, sauna and massage rooms.
