While the Australian actor often keeps the interior of his home off social media, Chris shared videos using his custom bowling alley to Instagram on Wednesday.

Chris was seen celebrating after scoring a strike, as he played barefoot with stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton and Australian techno producer Paul Fisher.

Kegel Sport Pty. Ltd. owner Heinz Gress exclusively told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday that the custom two-lane bowling alley was completed in 2019.

‘It took two weeks to install and was ready by Christmas,’ he said.

The company, which has installed bowling lanes for more than 12 years all over Australia, charges $110,000 for a two-lane bowling alley – which comes with an assortment of shoes and bowling balls.

Mr Gress said he met Chris twice during the alley’s planning and installation, and noted that the actor was always really friendly and a pleasure to work with.

The install features automatic bumpers and a unique above ground ball return system. There is also a walk-over balcony above the monitors that acts as a viewing platform for spectators.

The astonishing mural beside the bowling alley was completed by Indigenous artist Otis Carey in 2019, and covers a space of 25.5m by 4.5m, or 114sqM, and is believed to be worth at least $100,000.

As reported by The Daily Telegraph at the time, the spectacular blue, black and white ocean-inspired piece took Otis 140 hours to complete over three weeks.

Another pricey addition for the family was their 50-metre rooftop infinity pool, which is estimated to have cost at least $400,000.

Chris and wife Elsa’s LA-style compound in Broken Head is about 12 kilometres out of Byron Bay, and overlooks Seven Mile Beach.

They had originally purchased the property for $7million in 2014 and began the extensive renovations at the end of 2016.

The couple have been flying in and out of Sydney via private jets since January for separate film commitments.

Chris and Elsa married in 2010, and share three children: daughter India Rose, eight, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, seven.
