Chris Pratt upgraded his grooming routine while shooting his upcoming series The Terminal List in Hermosa Beach, California on Tuesday.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy actor, 41, looked sharp while heading to film at the local Irish pub Hennessey’s Tavern with neatly combed hair and the faintest hint of five-o’clock shadow along his jaw.

As Pratt, who plays a Navy SEAL in the Amazon series, walked from his car to his trailer he wore a blue jacket, Levi jeans and sturdy shoes that appeared to be from his own closet.

It looked like he brought lunch to set, seen toting around an insulated Whole Foods bag.

After letting cameras roll during a balcony scene, Chris traded his denim look for a two-toned windbreaker and track pants with a clear, plastic face shield in lieu of a mask.

The father of two made sure to stay caffeinated and hydrated, carrying a cup of coffee and a sizable jug of water.

The Terminal List is based on the Jack Carr novel about Navy SEAL James Reece’s return home after his entire platoon is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission.

According to Deadline: ‘Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability.

‘However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves.’

Pratt will have the pleasure of working with brother-in-law Patrick Schwarzenegger on the project.

The son of actor/politician Arnold Schwarzenegger will appear as Donny Mitchell, Pratt’s ‘fresh out of training’ colleague, described as the ‘baby-faced youngest team member’ of the platoon.

Last week the Parks And Rec actor paid tribute to his castmates who are also real life servicemen, sharing a behind-the-scenes snap of the team.

It was paired with the message of admiration for the military members, which read:  ‘Our world balances between light and dark. And though it feels precarious, it was created that way. We are called, each of us, to be of some service- to be light. Few answer the call. And fewer yet to the degree of the Warfare Special Operator.’

He went on to share how it has been his ‘great honor to work alongside men in this photo’ and that many of them are ‘actual Navy Seals.’

‘As far as men go, it is my opinion there are none equal to the SEAL,’ he added in another nod of respect.

‘I’m trying my hardest to portray James Reece in a believable way. With enough smoke and mirrors and technical advice from the men who’ve lived it, we’ll fake it just enough to tell the incredible story.’
