Coco Stedman walks out on Sam Carraro on Married At First Sight

A furious Coco Stedman left Sam Carraro on Tuesday’s episode of Married At First Sight, after he criticised her for a challenge, which saw them ranking the show’s brides and grooms in order of attractiveness.

After Coco, 30, ranked Sam sixth in attractiveness out of all the grooms on the show, he decided to confront her, despite him placing fellow bride Alana Lister in the number one spot.

‘I think that was a little bit childish. I think that was a bit of a swipe. I’m not gonna cop that,’ the 32-year-old confessed after he’d ranked Coco fourth out of all the brides.

Sitting down on the couch alongside Coco, Sam broke the tension by asking her how she felt about the challenge.

‘Putting me in the bottom four, I don’t think that’s where you would’ve really put me. I think that was a little bit of a, you know…’ Sam told her.

Coco then asked if he felt like it was an ‘attack’, with Sam labelling it ‘a little bit of a cheap shot’.

‘So, why aren’t I allowed to have opinions on what I find attractive? Why does it have to be an attack on you?’ Coco asked him.

She continued: ‘I don’t understand how you can sit there and you’ve made all of the comments you’ve made about me.

‘You don’t like my body, you don’t like my shape, you find Alana attractive, all of this stuff, and then have a dig at me about, “Oh, you put me in the bottom four.”‘

As Coco became increasingly agitated, Sam tried to brush her off, claiming they were ‘just having a conversation’.

‘I’m not having a go at you. I’m not even making a big deal out of this. We’re just having a conversation,’ he told her.

Becoming emotional, Coco told Sam that it seemed like he was always ‘allowed to literally rip on me’.

'I'm not having a go at you. I'm not even making a big deal out of this. We're just having a conversation,' he told her

‘For the past two weeks, I have not said one thing negatively about you. I have never ripped about your personality. I have never ripped about things that you say to me. I have never, ever said anything about your physical appearance!’ she screamed.

‘You can’t rip on every essence of everything that I am. And the one day I put you in a line-up, don’t say that you think I was taking a cheap shot when I have been…’ she continued, before trailing off in tears.

Sam then smirked, before asking Coco: ‘Do you not like my physical appearance?’

‘I’m just so done with it. Who does Sam think he is? That was literally the angriest I’ve gotten ever,’ she fumed.

As she walked out the door, Coco added: ‘There’s no coming back from this now. This is way too far gone.’
