Controversial media personality Sam Newman marries his longtime partner Amanda Brown in an intimate ceremony at their Melbourne home
Fourth time’s the charm for Sam Newman, after he married his longtime girlfriend, Amanda Brown.
According to a report by the Herald Sun on Friday, the 74-year-old media personality married Amanda in an intimate ceremony at their Melbourne home.
The nuptials took place last week, and also coincided with Amanda’s 50th birthday last Friday.

It’s the fourth marriage for the controversial star, who has been with Amanda for around 20 years.
They were married at their luxury high-rise Docklands apartment, with former Perfect Match host Greg Evans officiating the ceremony.
Only close friends and family were in attendance, with Sam’s best friend, Kevin King, stepping in as best man.

His eldest son, Jack, acted as photographer, capturing the intimate ceremony for the newlyweds.
Amanda was first spotted out with Sam at a New Year’s Eve party at the Crown Casino back in 2002.
The pair are notoriously private, rarely posing for photographs together, and the wedding was shrouded in secrecy.
Sam has a notorious history with his exes, and spoke about being run over by one ex-girlfriend on his podcast, You Cannot Be Serious, in May.

He recounted his former girlfriend, Leonie Jones, running over him outside his Brighton home in 1997, leaving him with a broken leg and ankle.
‘I got run over. I got backed over by a light Korean-model car,’ he reflected.
‘No matter how light they are, when they back over you they have a sump and wheels and a diff and an engine, they are pretty, bloody, f**king heavy.’
