Lucy Fallon enjoyed the sunny start to the week as she stepped out in an animal print coat to walk her pet dog on Monday.

The former Coronation Street actress, 25, added to her distinctive look with a pair of cat eye sunglasses as she walked the pooch, named Sushi, across Blackpool beach.

She completed the ensemble with an emerald green jumper under her knee-length coat to give the outfit a pop of colour.

Monday strolls: Lucy Fallon was enjoying the sunny start to the week as she looked cool in an animal print coat while out a walk with her dog Sushi in Blackpool on Monday

The star opted for comfort and sported a pair of black leggings and bright white trainers for her walk on the beach.

Lucy tied her blonde tresses back in a sleek low ponytail and added a blue scrunchie to her look.

The actress kept her accessories minimal, adding a pair of gold hoops and a number of rings.

Last month, Lucy joined forces with former Doctor Who star Pearl Mackie for the terrifying audio series Sour Hall.

The role is her first to be released since she quit Coronation Street last year after five years playing teen Bethany Platt, while Pearl last starred on Who as Bill Potts in 2017.

The audio series is an adaptation of Naomi Booth’s short story Sour Hall, which was originally created for Audible’s 2019 project Hag.

A trailer shows the pair moving into their new home at a remote farm, after Lucy’s character George inherits the land from her ancestor’s and hopes to start a new life there with her partner Ash (played by Pearl).

The series was recorded using a groundbreaking 360-degree sound technique on location in Yorkshire.

Last month, insiders close to the actress revealed she secretly reunited with her long-term boyfriend in September last year, despite them calling it quits in August.

She ditched him before she began filming ITV’s Don’t Rock The Boat but the pair decided to give their three-year romance one last try.

However, according to a report, Lucy soon kicked the insurance manager out of the house they shared in Blackpool for the final time.

A source told The Sun that the pair rekindled their relationship for a few weeks shortly after she wrapped on Don’t Rock The Boat, explaining: ‘They tried to make it work but after a few weeks and some honest discussions it became apparent it was over for good.

‘It’s not been easy on Lucy but she’s in the driving seat of their split. Tom moved out of the house they shared together in Blackpool and Lucy is now working out whether she wants to sell up or not. It’s her property but it has a lot of memories.’

In August 2020, Lucy ditched Tom just before she started filming the show, after lockdown ‘drove them apart’.
