Denise and beau Eddie, 46, showed off their fun side as they giggled and pulled faces while posing for the camera following an earlier TV interview.

The actress looked fabulous in a black jumper emblazoned with the words ‘New York City’, while she wore her platinum tresses in a poker straight style.

It comes after Denise recently  admitted she fears her injured shoulder is getting worse.

The star was forced to bow out of the ITV ice dancing competition after her first routine when she took a tumble on the ice during rehearsals and ended up with three fractures and a dislocation in her shoulder.

And now the West End star revealed she’s concerned that she’s ‘taken a step back’ as she discussed her recovery on Friday’s BBC Morning Live.

Speaking to hosts Gethin Jones and Kym Marsh, Denise, who was partnered with pro skater Matt Evers, said via video link: ‘I have been trying to move my arm more because the physio advised me to.

‘I’m a bit concerned now that I am getting frozen shoulder because I’ve got very limited movement, I feel like I have taken a little bit of a step back.’

The TV star revealed that she is due to have another scan on her shoulder next week and hopes she’ll find out more about her progress.

She continued: ‘It’s a weird thing when it’s your shoulder because you can’t really put a cast on it, you can’t keep it in a sling so you’ve just got to try and keep it moving so I keep forgetting. I still have fractured bones.’

Earlier this month, Denise revealed she spent 15 hours with a dislocated shoulder after injuring herself because she ‘didn’t really want to bother the NHS’ – because she didn’t want to add to the strain the NHS is under amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking during an appearance on ITV’s Loose Women, she said: ‘After the rehearsal I spent 15 hours with my shoulder being dislocated, because we didn’t really want to bother the NHS knowing that they’ve been so overstretched.

‘So it wasn’t until the pain was so unbearable that they advised I went in to see them. They put my shoulder back in but it popped out again, and then I skated on it in the most excruciating pain I cannot tell you.

‘After that, I had an MRI, and it was fractured in three parts. So I’ve got three fractures and dislocation.’

Despite her injuries, Denise and Matt still took to the ice last month for their first – and only – routine of the series.

And the blonde beauty has confessed she pushed through her routine because she didn’t want to let anybody down, especially her 10-year-old daughter, Betsy.

When asked how she coped with skating on her injured shoulder, she said: ‘I don’t really know myself how I did it. I’m a bit of an old school theatre entertainer, I’ve been doing this since I was a little kid… not the ice skating, evidently.

‘But I just took a deep breath, I had to grit my teeth, but I think there was a number of reasons why I wanted to [carry on].

‘First of all, Matt, my lovely skate partner, had been working so hard with me because I’d never skated before, and I’d just built my confidence up to do the skating, and I didn’t want to let him down.

‘And also, my daughter. I knew she’d be watching, and I thought she’d be so upset if she doesn’t see Mummy go out and do her first skate. I just wanted to get on with it. I’m very much a “the show must go on” sort of person.’

So many celebrities have been forced to drop out of Dancing On Ice that for the first time in its history, the show has run out of reserves.

Earlier this week, professional skater Hamish Gaman, 37, was forced to bow out after injuring his hand ‘whilst putting on a sock’.

Rufus Hound, 41, was previously axed from the competition after he tested positive for coronavirus while Billie Shepherd, 31, both dropped out of the show after suffering a concussion after falling on her head in training.

Denise’s comments comes after an announcement by ITV that their skating show has taken a week off to allow the cast and crew to ‘recharge and rest up’ after four stars dropped out and Jason Donovan, 52, injured his back.
