EastEnders fans were left distressed on Thursday’s episode after Jay Brown saved Honey Mitchell from being sexually assaulted in an alleyway after she was drugged by her date.
During the hard-hitting episode, Honey went on a date with Paul where he evilly spiked her drink when she went to the toilet.
Honey was left slurring her words and stumbling in Walford after finishing her drink unaware it had been spiked while Paul sinisterly followed her.

Realising she was in danger, Honey phoned Jay on her mobile and left a message before Paul made her hang up, leading her to an abandoned alleyway.
Listening to the voicemail, a concerned Jay went looking for Honey as it was unusual for her to sounds that drunk so early in the day.
While the character was left even more worried when he went to the restaurant they ate at to be told Honey was stumbling and left with her date.
With an unconscious Honey lying on the floor, Paul evilly took out his mobile phone and started recording her before unbuckling his belt.

After chasing off Paul, Jay started shouting at Honey to wake up and if she could hear him before the episode eerily ended.
Soap watchers were left distressed over the scenes as they praised Jay for saving her and Honey actress, Emma Barton, for her hard-hitting portrayal in the unsettling scenes.
