Emma Roberts evokes her mean girl character Chanel from Scream Queens to promote her new Netflix movie Holidate

She has both a baby on the way, as well as a new romantic comedy.

And Emma Roberts was busy promoting the latter on Monday, when she appeared on Instagram in a cheeky faux-PSA style video to talk up her new Netflix movie Holidate, which premieres on Wednesday.

After a somewhat tone deaf intro that suggested she was about to ‘raise awareness’ about the upcoming election, Black Lives Matter, or the coronavirus pandemic, the mother-to-be, 29, identified ‘an important issue facing us this October.’

Chanel returns: Emma Roberts appeared on Instagram on Monday in a cheeky faux-PSA style video, evoking a mean girl character from her repertoire

‘There are no more excuses, no time left to avoid doing what you know is the right thing to do,’ the American Horror Story actress said while wearing a pink and black polka-dotted retro outfit.

‘There’s just truly no reason that I can possibly think of that you can’t come up with a f***ing Halloween costume this year,’ she continued, sounding exactly like her sorority queen bee character Chanel from Scream Queens.

‘Last minute Halloween costumes effect one out of every one American. And you’ve been home for, what, eight months?’

‘I don’t want to hear whatever bulls*** excuse you have when October 31st rolls around and you say, “Oh my God, I have to find a costume,”‘ Roberts later said.

‘You blew it, sweetie,’ she added, in true Chanel fashion.

Toward the end, after suggesting some quick bed sheet ghost at-home costume ideas, the niece of Julia Roberts tied the clip in to her new movie.

‘Please, spread this message, and make plans to watch my new movie, Holidate’ the starlet said with a coy smile.

In the film, Emma stars opposite Luke Bracey as a pair of perpetually single people who recruit each other as ‘holidates,’ otherwise known as their platonic plus-ones for each other’s holiday events throughout the entire year.

The romcom costars Kristin Chenoweth, Frances Fisher and SNL’s Alex Moffat.

Holidate starts streaming on Netflix on Wednesday, October 28th.
