In dramatic scenes Tracy becomes convinced her baby is on the way and orders Eric Pollard to drive her to the hospital, unaware the car’s brakes have been tampered with by Cain Dingle.
It remains to be seen whether Tracy and her unborn daughter pull through, but it will be a devastating blow for her partner Nate Robinson after he narrowly escaped jail for running over Moira Barton.

Cain’s plot to tamper with Pollard’s car comes in a bid to get revenge on Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), who is secretly working with Kim Tate (Claire King).
He messes with the brakes thinking Mackenzie will get behind the wheel, but of course the vehicle is picked up by Pollard (Chris Chittell) after a service.
Amid all the plotting, Tracy (Amy Walsh) drops the bombshell that she’s gone into labour and must get to the hospital.

Kim has been scheming with Mack to get revenge on Cain, after he tried to frame her son Jamie for drink-driving following Moira’s hit and run.
The veteran soap villain offered to pay Mack for helping her ruin Cain’s life, with recent attempts including stealing cars from the garage.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
