‘It’s been really difficult. I had that period where we were all in lockdown and it kind of felt that we were in it together and I was with Ben and I came back from working overseas,’ Erin began.

‘That time together was lovely, we never ever spent more than a couple of weeks in a row together. Rescheduling the wedding twice now has not been fun.’

‘It’s been quite a stress and the longer it goes on, the harder it is to get your head around,’ she said.

Erin and Ben, 33, were set to tie the knot in early 2020, but are now waiting to see what date is best for 2021.

The TV presenter said it’s hard to reschedule due to Ben’s cricketing commitments.

‘I know in the scheme of things, it’s not the most important thing, but for something like that, you have your heart set on it. And for us, our schedules change so quickly, we don’t know if Ben will even be available for certain dates,’ she said.

‘So it’s getting my head around that and how life has changed in the past six to 12 months. And my aunt passed away as well and I can’t get to the state for the funeral,’ Erin said.

‘This year has made a transient life and living across two states more difficult.’

Erin, who recently bought a unit in Sydney with Ben, added: ‘I just miss my family and I’m hoping the borders open soon so I can go and see everyone.’

In September, Erin completed 14 days of mandatory hotel quarantine in Brisbane after flying in from Sydney.
