Flip or Flop’s Tarek El Moussa has proposed to his Selling Sunset star girlfriend Heather Rae, on their one-year anniversary.
El Moussa, 38, popped the question to realtor Young, 32, on a romantic boat trip to Catalina Island, California, PEOPLE Magazine reports.

The reality star told the outlet that he chose the location because it was a ‘special place’ for them and that they ‘love to be on the boat together.’
As it was initially for their anniversary of one year, his bride-to-be was said to be completely shocked and taken aback by the proposal.
‘She said yes!’ he captioned a photo of the pair on Instagram, while adding the humorous hastag ‘Flipping her last name’
While Young took to her social to say ‘One of us is having the best surprise weekend of her life’ while she posed in a swimsuit on an inflatable unicorn.
Per the report, El Moussa dressed up in a full tuxedo to get down on one knee and ask for Young’s hand in marriage, despite being on a sandy beach.
The HGTV star is said to have picked an eight carat emerald-cut diamond ring to put on her finger, which he chose because 8 is a lucky number.
The pair first met through mutual friends at a fourth of July party at the beach, and made their romance public later that month.
By early August, Young and El Moussa had gone ‘Instagram official’ revealing that she had been introduced to his two children, daughter Taylor, nine, and son Brayden, four, from his realtionship with ex Christina Anstead.
