Former Ironwoman Candice Warner is labelled ‘the fittest woman’ on SAS Australia as fans praise her stamina

She’s proven herself to be a frontrunner on SAS Australia, and now Candice Warner is being praised as the show’s fittest woman.

Chief instructor Ant Middleton revealed he was immediately impressed by the 35-year-old former Ironwoman.  

‘From what I’ve seen she is physically fit, she’s not necessarily suffering. She’s doing quite well,’ he said in the show’s premiere episode.

He added: ‘I think she’s actually probably the fittest at the moment, of the women.’

And fans seemed to agree, rallying behind Candice on Twitter, and praising her can-do attitude.  

‘I would want Candice on my team,’ tweeted one fan, while another wrote, ‘Impressed with Candice Warner… character, effort & 100% behind family.’

Added one viewer: ‘Never really thought much of Candice Warner but she’s growing on me. Tough bird.’

While other recruits have struggled with the demanding course, Candice has remained steadfast in her skill and determination.

‘If you get knocked down, you get back up. You never stop moving, you never look back, you keep moving forward, because life has so many things to offer,’ she said.

And she’s not the only female recruit to have won praise from the show’s fans, with many viewers claiming the women are outperforming the men. 

Fans of the gruelling reality show flocked to Twitter on Tuesday to heap praise on the show’s female recruits.  

‘Women are outshining the men… proud of their efforts,’ tweeted one viewer, while another added, ‘The girls are carrying both teams, well done ladies!’
