Could she be any more like Monica Gellar?

Courteney Cox showed off her Type A organization skills in a funny Instagram video on Thursday, that would have made her Friends character proud.

The 56-year-old actress was taking part in a challenge whereby encouraging fans to show how they are a ‘Monica’ without actually saying anything – and for Courteney, it was all about showing off her impressively put-together kitchen.

The video comes after the finished taping of the upcoming reunion special of the hit NBC television series, which will be released as Friends: The Reunion. 

At the beginning of the video, the actress prompted her fans to ‘tell me you’re a Monica without telling me you’re a Monica,’ before exclaiming, ‘I’ll go first.’

She went on to show off an impressively organized cutlery cabinet, along with a cupboard full of labeled jars and a stocked pantry, before turning to the camera and humorously remarking, ‘I know.’

In the video, Cox was seen wearing a form-fitting black t-shirt and a single necklace.

The Cougar Town star’s gorgeous dark brown hair cascaded onto her shoulders and collarbones while filming the short clip.

Cox portrayed Geller for all ten seasons of the much-beloved NBC sitcom, which originally ran from 1994 until 2004.

The actress was originally asked to audition for the role of Rachel Green, which was ultimately given to Jennifer Aniston during the show’s casting process.

The Scream star went on to enjoy notable success while appearing in the series, and Friends’ principal cast went on to become some of the highest-paid actors in television history for their performances.

In 1995, Cox and her costars were the collective recipients of the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. 

The actress’ video comes just after the taping of the upcoming special episode of the sitcom, which will be released under the title Friends: The Reunion.

The upcoming entry in the series is also known as The One Where They Got Back Together in keeping with the show’s naming policy.

Development on the upcoming special was first announced by The Hollywood Reporter in November of 2019, with an official confirmation from WarnerMedia coming the following February.

In addition to the show’s original cast, its co-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane, as well as its longtime director Kevin S. Bright were all set to executive produce the upcoming episode.

Friends: The Reunion was filmed at Stage 24 at Warner Bros. Studios, Burbank, where the series had previously been shot ever since its second season.

The special was initially supposed to begin principal photography in March of 2020, although it was later delayed to August as a response to the onset of the global pandemic.

After a second postponement, the episode was finally filmed earlier this month.

David Schwimmer, who portrayed Ross Geller in the sitcom, previously noted that the cast would not be reprising their characters in the forthcoming special, although he hinted at something that was being kept under wraps.

Friends: The Reunion is currently set to premiere on the HBO Max streaming service at an unspecified date in the future.
