Natalie Portman arrived in Australia late last year ahead of filming scenes for Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder.

And on Wednesday, the Hollywood actress enjoyed a casual stroll in the upmarket suburb of Vaucluse, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

The Black Swan star, 39, dressed down in casual sweats and proved to be quite frugal by using old-fashioned earphones instead of wireless AirPods.

Natalie covered her figure in a black jumper and matching sweatpants, and kept light on her feet in a pair of black Asics sneakers.

She swept her brunette locks into a low-fuss ponytail and concealed her gaze behind tortoiseshell sunglasses.

The mother of two appeared to wear minimal makeup, drawing attention to her natural beauty.

Production on Thor: Love and Thunder began in January at Fox Studios in Sydney.   

The blockbuster will see Natalie’s character, astrophysicist Jane Foster, take up the mantle of Thor after transforming into a female version of the Norse god.

Natalie previously revealed her excitement at returning to the franchise during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

‘It’s going to be really silly and funny and great. We’ve got [director] Taika Waititi. He’s wonderful, so I’m very excited,’ she said.

Natalie was absent for 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, but was a key player in the first two Thor films, released in 2011 and 2013. 

Thor: Love and Thunder is scheduled to be released in February 2022.
