Gossip Girl alum Jessica Szohr, 35, credits ‘fast metabolism’ for her incredible postpartum figure

She gave birth to her first child on January 11.

And on Monday, former Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr showed off her postpartum body in a mirror selfie posted to Instagram.

In the accompanying caption, the 35-year-old credited her ‘fast metabolism’ for the way she’s bounced back into shape following her pregnancy.

The actress wrote: ‘Still blows my mind that I grew a little human inside me. My body transformed into her home for 10 months.’ 

She added: ‘While I look forward to getting back to exercising, I am grateful for my fast metabolism and I am proud of my body… it is resilient and strong!’

Szohr and her boyfriend, pro hockey player Brad Richardson welcomed a daughter they named Bowie Ella.

Richardson, 36, is also dad to daughter Lexi from his marriage to Lauren Hunt.

Szohr shared her happy news with her fans via social media as she posted a first look at her baby girl. 

‘This journey with Brad and Lexi has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.’ she posted back in January. 

‘To then create a human that is absolutely perfect in our eyes and put a feeling in my heart I didn’t know existed is beyond words. I have all the feels and she is really something special :).’

Prior to dating NHL pro Richardson, the Gossip Girl alum was linked to NFL player Aaron Rodgers from 2011 to 2014 and then NY Jets player Scotty McKnight from 2015 to 2018.
