Grant Gustin spotted on The Flash set just days after announcing his first child with wife LA Thoma

Just days after announcing his first child is on the way, Grant Gustin sped back to work on the set of The Flash.

The 31-year-old actor, who has been married to Andrea ‘LA’ Thoma since 2018, was spotted on the Vancouver set of his hit superhero show.

The Flash will kick off its seventh season on March 2, with The CW issuing a Season 8 renewal earlier in February.

Gustin was spotted wearing his crimson red Flash superhero suit as he strolled through the set.

He had a black stocking cap on to keep warm from the chilly British Columbia elements, with a blue medical face mask to keep safe from COVID-19.

While Gustin got back to work, his wife Thoma took to her Instagram on Wednesday, to open up with her experiences with Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG). 

Thoma began by stating she doesn’t get personal on social media too often, ‘but I wouldn’t feel right starting to post again about exercise and pregnancy without sharing my journey thus far. 

‘It has been a long tough road, and I know hearing other women’s stories helped me. So maybe sharing a little bit of mine could help someone else,’ she added.

Thoma continued that she got in a, ‘bad habit’ of calling Hyperemesis gravidarum the wrong thing’ in the video she posted, so she apologized for that.

‘To all the women who went through or are going through HG or fertility problems…I feel you. You are a bada**. You got this,’ she concluded her caption.

The happy couple announced the pregnancy last Thursday, with a photo of the happy couple holding their three dogs and an ultrasound image.

‘Unbelievably excited ❤️ As LA noted, the dogs obviously are too,’ Gustin said in his caption.

Gustin made his debut as Barry Allen in an episode of Arrow that served as a backdoor pilot to The Flash.

Before he portrayed The Fastest Man Alive, Gustin played Sebastian Smythe on Glee and Campbell Price on 90210. 

Gustin and Thoma, a physical therapist, started dating in January 2016, with the couple announcing their engagement in April 2017 and tying the knot in December 2018.
