Halsey keeps it casual in overalls while stepping out with Alev Aydin to pick up new art supplies

Halsey just finished her latest art project and is already getting started on something new.

The 26-year-old pop star was spotted replenishing her art supplies with writer and producer Alev Aydin at Blick in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Recently the singer and activist has been pouring her creativity into painting and wrapped up her Halloween themed piece late Monday night.

‘At last, sleep,’ Halsey captioned an Instagram snap of her spooky painting.

The ‘masterpiece’, as it was dubbed by her fans in the comments section, featured a collection of ghouls and ghosts.

Halsey’s creative juices must still be flowing as she was seen scooping up bags of art supplies at Blick the very next day.

The Bad At Love hitmaker was dressed down in an artsy pair of denim overalls over a tie dye sweatshirt and sneakers.

She and her pal Alev Aydin both had disposable protective facemasks on to help stem the spread of the coronavirus.

Halsey accessorized her dressed down look with a white beanie which covered up her newly shaved head. 

Last week the songstress made headlines when she revealed her stunning new shaved haircut.   

‘Just in time 4 beanie weather,’ she wrote on Instagram to show off the bold look. 

She first unveiled her new yet familiar look in a TikTok video, posting a silly before-and-after video of her transformation. 

‘I love be bald,’ she later tweeted.

Asked by a fan why she made the dramatic cut, Halsey said she simply missed the shorter style after growing out her hair.

‘I was growing it out for so long and I told myself I wouldn’t shave it till I saw what it was like healthy and long and then I saw it healthy and long and said “mm this is nice but I miss bald.” and then so I did it!’ 

The chart-topper has had a busy few months in quarantine. She was recently named one of Time magazine’s ‘2020 Next Generation Leaders’, even gracing the cover of the iconic periodical.

The publication said that the artist had found a ‘new purpose in activism and advocacy,’ which had been highlighted over the past seven months.

Halsey will also be releasing a collection of poetry, I Would Leave Me If I Could, on November 10. 

And, she collaborated with Machine Gun Kelly for his latest song Forget Me Too, as well as the music video where they play ex-lovers struggling to move on from their toxic relationship.
