Harry Styles has spoken in favor of Joe Biden.

The 26-year-old singer and actor responded to a tweet from the Democratic presidential candidate on Tuesday, saying that he’s backing the former vice president in his campaign against Donald Trump next week.

‘If I could vote in America, I’d vote with kindness,’ the British singer said.

A number of Twitter users supported the Watermelon Sugar artist in his political proclamation.

‘If Harry Styles says we’re riding with Biden then we’re riding with Biden!’ one said.

The Sign of the Times artist has past showed off his comedic chops while speaking about Trump and American politics in past talk show appearances.

In May of 2017, Styles appeared on James Corden’s Late Late Show, where he cracked a few jokes at Trump’s expense.

With just a week left until Election Day, Biden campaigned in Georgia, where he said that ‘anger and suspicion is growing and our wounds are getting deeper’ amid political tensions between the left and right.

‘Has the heart of this nation turned to stone? I don’t think so – I refuse to believe it,’ said Biden, who said if elected he will aim to ‘restore our soul and save this country’ after four years of Trump.

Biden said that the president has ‘shrugged,’ ‘swaggered’ and ‘surrendered’ as more than 226,000 Americans have died of coronavirus this year.

‘The tragic truth of our time is that COVID has left a deep and lasting wound in this country,’ he said.
