Helena Christensen rocks a bright color-block sweater as she brings dog Kuma out

Helena Christensen surfaced from lockdown in New York City this weekend to grab a couple of takeaway coffees.

The 52-year-old Danish supermodel, who first became a star as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, brought her beloved Australian shepherd Kuma along for the coffee run.

She slipped herself into a bright color-block sweater over a highlighter green top, keeping her look casual with a pair of sweats.

Sweeping her hair back into a tight bun, she opted for a gingham number as far as her mask was concerned amid the ongoing pandemic.

The Copenhagen native, who was born on Christmas Day, rounded off her ensemble with a fashionable pair of leather shoes.

Helena has a 21-year-old son called Mingus with The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, who now has a two-year-old daughter with Diane Kruger. 

A couple of years ago Helena, who has also broken into photography, gushed in the Guardian that she and Mingus are ‘so in love’ with Kuma.

‘Getting our dog was absolutely the best thing I have done in my life besides having my son,’ spilled the fashionista.

‘Mentally, she makes me feel so much better. She sleeps in the bed with me. When I’m on trips I listen to recordings of her snoring.’

Helena revealed to the newspaper: ‘If I am feeling anxious, like at an airport, I listen to it over and over. It’s like meditation.’

Back in 2019 she dished to the Daily Mail about some of the fitness secrets that have helped her maintain her bombshell figure.

‘I think it’s important to shake it up and do as many different forms of workout as possible, but also to incorporate nature into them,’ she said.

‘Swim in the ocean, swim in rivers, swim in lakes. Hiking, trekking, chopping wood – it’s the best way of working out, because it doesn’t really feel like a workout. It feels like you’re alive,’ Helena explained.
