Hilary Rhoda showcases her awesome abs during backyard workout… nearly six months after welcoming son Nash

Sports Illustrated model Hilary Rhoda welcomed her first son Nash with husband Sean Avery in late July.

On Thursday the 33-year-old Maryland born beauty showed off her post-baby body nearly six months after giving birth as she did a backyard workout.

Rocking a matching legging and sports bra set from Bandier she flashed her abs as she spoke about keeping herself motivated on Instagram.

No days off: Model Hilary Rhoda, 33, flashed her abs and amazing post-baby body while doing a backyard workout after welcoming her first son Nash with husband Sean Avery in late July

Though she shared to her story that she was ‘procrastinating’ as she took selfies while laying in front of her workout mat, she managed to find the motivation.

With two three-pound weights in hand she did some extended side crunches as she showed off her lean figure.

Noticing a bit of a commotion in the background, she nudged her former hockey playing husband of seven years to stop using the leaf blower as she tried to focus on working up a sweat.

Posting a few other selfies after completing the workout, she admitted how much she missed workout classes, which have been largely barred due to COVID-19 restrictions.

‘Today was one of those days I really missed and needed the energy of other people in a workout class. Amazing what that can do to motivate and push ourselves! Hopefully soon…’

Rhoda and Avery moved from their home in NYC to Los Angeles in late November, alongside many who fled to make a life in a place with more outdoor space amid lockdown.

Trading in their NoHo condo for a swanky house in Laurel Canyon, the pair have settled in nicely despite the fact that LA’s Covid-19 restrictions have shut down most workout facilities.

Distracted: Rhoda said that she had found herself to be a bit distracted as husband Sean used a leaf blower in the background, which did not help the struggle to workout while missing the energy of taking classes

The model who is known for having a envy-worthy figure has clearly found other ways to keep in shape as she reveled in having some time to focus on herself.

After some self-care she was back to cuddling with her six-month old son who she swooned over.

They laid on his playmat as she filmed her little tot laughing and smiling as she gushed, ‘Look at those legs, I love them so much!’

In typical baby fashion he curiously tried to yank at her hair as she told the camera, ‘Ow – I don’t need to be losing anymore hair.’

Though happy to be parents now, Rhoda had previously suffered two miscarriages as revealed by Avery on his podcast ‘No F***s Given.’

She continued to share after the birth of their son that they had a hard time trying to conceive and said it , ‘might have almost ended our marriage once or twice.’

Speaking to People about their tough journey to parenthood while trying to provide hope for others in a similar situation she said:

‘I was sensitive to the people out there who are trying to conceive or have experienced loss from miscarriages like I did, so I wanted to share that it wasn’t easy for us either.’
