Holly Willoughby brings the festive glamour in a RENTED £1,595 scarlet dress

Holly Willoughby looked sensational as she posed in a rented £1,595 dress for Monday’s episode of This Morning – and continued to promote sustainable fashion.

The presenter, 39, wowed in a shimmering scarlet dress by brand, The Vampire’s Wife, which boasted structured shoulders and a frilled hemline and sleeves.

The dress, which was teamed with black stilettos, was rented from HURR Collective from between £164-£449 – a fraction of the £1,595 retail price.

Holly captioned the snap: ‘Morning Monday… #hollyjollychristmas too much? 

‘Never!!!! It’s CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! See you on @thismorning at 10am… Dress rented from @hurr @thevampireswife #sustainablefashion.’

HURR were quick to repost the outfit, writing: ‘Another week, another @hollywillougby rented outfit we need in our lives.’

 In October Holly  rented a £300 dress for her appearance on This Morning.

The TV presenter wore loose-fitting long fuchsia dress with a floral pattern with with a pair of beige high-heeled shoes.   

At the time Holly’s dress was available to rent on the platform for £55 – a fraction of its £300 retail price from designer Sau Lee.   

Posting a snap of her outfit to Instagram, Holly thanked her stylist Dannii Whiteman for finding the dress. 

Emphasising its sustainable credentials, she added that it was ‘such a great way of injecting your wardrobe with something new that doesn’t only get worn once or twice’.   

In November, Holly was temporarily replaced by Davina McCall and Alison Hammond as she took a brief break from her This Morning duties to look after her children – after two out of three of them experienced COVID symptoms.

The blonde did not specify which of her kids had COVID-19 symptoms but announced the news in an Instagram post.

The ITV icon, who confirmed the whole family tested negative for the virus, said at the time: ‘Just wanted to say thank you for all your kind messages… over the last few days two of our children were unwell and had symptoms of COVID.  

‘In line with government guidelines we were waiting for results of the tests before I could return to work, couple that with just wanting to look after two poorly children, it meant having two days away from @thismorning.’

Holly also went on to explain why she’d remained silent on the matter, as fans expressed their concern in droves over her unannounced absence. 

The former Celebrity Juice panellist said: ‘I chose not to alert everyone to this because my focus was on looking after them… thankfully all tests came back negative and everybody’s feeling much better… see you Monday!’

Holly has been the face of This Morning since replacing Fern Britton in September 2009, and often takes breaks from work to spend time with her family during half-term periods and summer holidays.
