The REAL raging bull: Moment a huge bovine breaks out of field and traps a couple in their car on country road

  • Tina O’Neill and partner Ken Fuller were driving home from a country park
  • Drove past the huge bull in a field and decided to return to get a quick photo
  • But the animal broke out of its field and trapped them in their car
  • The photos were taken on a country lane near Castle Eaton, Swindon

A couple got the fright of their lives after a massive bull bursting with muscles broke out of his field in front of them.

Tina O’Neill and her partner Ken Fuller took refuge Thursday afternoon after the huge animal burst through a field fence and onto the road.

Visibly angry – he then proceeded to roam around the country lane, bellowing and snacking on the verge.

Posting pictures of the raging bull on social media, Tina, 44, said: ‘When you get trapped in the car because this beast has escaped from the field.’

Tina O’Neill and partner Ken Fuller got more than they bargained for trying to take photo of a huge bull when it broke out of its field and trapped them in their car on a lane near Castle Eaton, Swindon.

Luckily the farmer was alerted and arrived to put the huge bovine back in his field near the village of Castle Eaton, just north of Swindon.

Describing the experience Tina, from Swindon, said: ‘We were on our way back from Stanton Park getting pictures of dragonflies as we’ve started doing wildlife photography.

‘On the way home I saw him (the bull) and said how massive he was, so my partner said: “Do you want to go get a photo?”

Tina, 44, from Swindon, said: 'We reversed back to the field where he was, but just as I took one photo he then went barging towards the fence'

‘So we reversed back to the field where he was, but just as I took one photo he then went barging towards the fence.

‘We heard the fence break so my partner got out and went up to the farmer’s house to get help, but no one was about.

‘So we drove back onto the road – we were face to face with bully!

‘Another driver passed and said he knew the farmer and would go make some calls. So we sat for about 20/30 minutes to wait for the farmer to come rescue us and put him back in the field.

‘Not something we planned on bumping into.’
