The 52-year-old actor appeared to be enjoying the pleasant springtime weather as he took to a picturesque beach to keep his chiseled physique in top condition.

The longtime Wolverine actor notably kept running after he entered the frigid waters of Sag Harbor Beach and eventually made his way back to shore, where he continued his workout.

Jackman kept his outfit simple during his run, as he wore a pair of patterned trunks and a set of black water shoes.

The Les Miserables actor is well known for his intense fitness regimen and for his dedication to his physical well-being.

Last year, the performer appeared on The Tim Ferriss Show and spoke about the mindset that he has adopted in order to push himself further in terms of his workout routines.

‘I mentally, quite often during the day, just before I do an activity, imagine that it’s done. That feeling I have when it’s done and gone well. And I go into it with that,’ he said.

Jackman also spoke about his affinity for rowing and expressed that he has taken up the exercise both for its benefits and for the challenge that it presents.

‘There’s a reason the rower’s usually empty at the gym—because it’s difficult…And a lot of people want to say it and feel they’ve worked out, and they want to get a sweat, but they don’t necessarily.’

The Oscar-nominated actor then noted that he finds it necessary to keep himself physically fit but not overly so in order to take on wide-ranging roles.

‘I have to prepare to look physically a way, but I can’t get injured. So I can’t prepare as a bodybuilder. I have to be able to prepare as a really jacked, ripped athlete-slash-dancer,’ he remarked.

Jackman is currently prepping for the release of the upcoming sci-fi thriller film, Reminiscence, which was written and directed by Westworld co-creator Lisa Joy.

The actor will portray Nick Bannister, a veteran living in a decaying future version of Miami, who becomes involved in a criminal conspiracy centered around his memory-reliving service.

Also set to appear in the forthcoming feature are Rebecca Ferguson, Daniel Wu and Cliff Curtis, among others.

The feature was originally supposed to be released on April 16th, although it was ultimately delayed, and its date was taken over by Mortal Kombat.

Reminiscence is currently set to make its debut on August 20th, and it will be released in theaters and on the HBO Max streaming service.
